Mental health is a topic that is increasingly being discussed, but did you know that 1 in 5 pregnant women experiences anxiety or depression during pregnancy?
Symptoms like losing interest in your usual activities, feeling isolated, experiencing psychological distress, or having trouble sleeping could be signs of mental health issues. If you no longer recognize yourself or struggle to carry out your daily activities for more than two weeks, it’s crucial to talk about it.
It’s important to remember that you are not alone. Sharing what you’re going through with loved ones or professionals can help you feel supported. You don’t have to suffer in silence—your mental health is just as important as your physical health.
